    Empowerment through Sustainability

When we first work with a community, we work to address their basic needs — like food, water, healthcare, and education. Then we move to address more complex community needs such as skill training to fuel the local economy.

We train those in need to grow their business, improve farming methods and work together. This helps parents become better providers for their children. And those children grow up better nourished, better educated, and better equipped to break the cycle of poverty.

    Sustainable through Sadaqah Jariyah

Sadaqah Jariyah: a form of charity which will provide you with rewards for as long as people benefit from your good deeds. The Prophet (Peace be Upon Him) said:
“When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)” Narrated by Abu Hurairah, Sahih Muslim
