Eid al-Fitr: A Joyous Celebration Marking the End of Ramadan

Eid al-Fitr is one of the Islamic calendar's most important and celebrated holidays, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan. It's a time for Muslims worldwide to come together, celebrate their faith, and express gratitude for the blessings received.

When is Eid Ul-Fitr in 2024?

The exact date of Eid al-Fitr depends on the sighting of the new moon. If the moon is not sighted on the 29th day of the lunar cycle, the new month commences after the 30th day of the previous lunar month. This can lead to variations in the date of Eid al-Fitr in different parts of the world, as some rely on calculations while others depend on the actual sighting of the moon.

If Ramadan 2024 begins on March 11th 2024, Eid al-Fitr will likely fall on either April 10th or 11th 2024.

The Australian Fatwa Council has annouced Eid Al Fitr will be on Wednesday, 10th April 2024.

Always refer to credible sources for the most up-to-date information.
