Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Give each other gifts, and you will love each other” (al-Adab al-Mufrad 594).

Abdullah ibn Umar (RA) relates, I asked the Prophet (SAW),”Apostle of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about (visiting) Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem).¨

The Apostle of Allah (SAW) said, “Go and pray there. If you cannot visit it and pray there, then send some oil to be used in the lamps¨ (Sahih al Bukhari).

With this option, you can provide emergency relief through food, water, medical supplies to Palestinians in Gaza.

HELP CURE BLINDNESS (ANY AMOUNT):

Anas RA said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying, “Allah, the Glorious and Exalted said: ‘When I afflict my slave in his two dear things (i.e., his eyes), and he endures patiently, I shall compensate him for them with Jannah” (Bukhari).

Aid those who do not have access to medical treatment and cannot see or have illnesses that lead to blindness.

HELP BUILD WATER WELLS ($500):

Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, my mother has died. Shall I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Yes.” I said, “Which charity is best?” The Prophet said, “A drink of water.” (Sunan al-Nasā’ī 3664)

Help in the construction of water wells to provide clean water and stop water-borne diseases.

ORPHAN CARE

ORPHAN CARE (ANY AMOUNT):

‘They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend [in charity]. Say, “Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveller. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.”’ Al Baqarah: 215

Choose this option to care for orphans who are in impoverished conditions.

SADAQAH JARIYAH

SADAQAH JARIYAH (ANY AMOUNT):

“When a human being dies, all one’s deeds cease, save three: a Sadaqah Jariyah, [religious] knowledge [one leaves behind] from which others benefit, and a righteous child who prays for one” (Muslim).

Set up an ongoing reward for continuous charity!

STEP 4: Make the payment, and complete the gifting process!

The final step is to make the payment, and once this is done, your recipient will receive an email with the gift card attached (donation amount is not shown on the gift card).

All donations through Gifts of Mercy are tax deductible, so you will receive a tax receipt for your donation.

Please note that the gift cards are sent via email and are not printed and mailed by post. If you wish, you may download the gift card from your email and then print and share it.
