First and foremost we must acknowledge and thank all the donors who have supported the projects we manage over the past 25yrs. During this time, you have entrusted us with the money you donate, to deliver efficient, smart and impactful projects to the children and communities in need across the globe.
Our financial statements are both internally and externally audited on a yearly basis ensuring full transparency for our donors and other stakeholders. Muslim Aid Australia are the only Comprehensive’ Muslim organisation who hold the DGR Status. This means that all your donations which are $2 or more are tax deductible across all our campaigns and not only selected ones.

How do we keep our admin fees so low?
At Muslim Aid Australia we are always looking for innovative ways to keep our costs as low as possible. Developing systems which allow us to forego conventional methods of working in an office environment as well as promoting various campaigns give us the opportunity to remove these associated costs. Some of these initiatives are:
Fundraising for Administration Fees
In an effort to continuously bring down our admin fees we took the initiative to allow donors to specifically donate towards them through our state of the art, Sharia compliant online donation system. This is used to offset any expense of the office and related running costs.

As you would have already noticed, Muslim Aid Australia choose not to use expensive advertising mediums, such as Billboards, Shopping Centre Ads & Newspaper Ads. We focus all our marketing efforts through established organisational networks and social media sites.

Another great initiative we have started to implement, is to move all our work online and eliminate the need to use paper in the office.
At Muslim Aid Australia we hire efficient and talented staff who are subject matter experts within their fields. All staff are hand picked to ensure we maximise on productivity and complement one another. Through this, we are able to develop state of the art systems to manage donations both on and offline, accounting processes, marketing, reporting and project management. These systems not only make our work more efficient, but also eliminates the need to unnecessarily hire additional staff which would reduce the amount we are able to distribute to those in need.
